Last good-bye to Ing. Masini from Eng. Sergizzarea and MTIC InterCert Srl

On behalf of Ing. Feridoon Sergizzarea and MTIC InterCert S.r.l., it is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Ing. Mario Masini on 26.10.2020.

Ing. Masini, as the founder and the honorary president of MTIC InterCert S.r.l. - formerly known as Istituto di Ricerche e Collaudi M. Masini S.r.l. (IRCM) -, left us unforgettable memories and big history of IRCM.

Under his leadership, the institute achieved many notifications and accreditations for several standards and sectors and is committed to several market sectors, ranging from food to toys, from healthcare products to building products, and much more.

One of the most important achievements is that IRCM was in charge of very special tests to consult to perform physical evaluations on the Holy Shroud’s shrine and to assess the air quality of the monastery where Leonardo da Vinci’s Last Supper is preserved.

In his 93 years of life, Ing. Masini took a big role in the development of Italy and for all his contributions to the country he was honoured with two important honorary titles as Cavaliere and Ufficiale dell’Ordine Al Merito Della Repubblica Italiana.

Ing. Masini himself is the author of two publications: “Radiographic manual for pressure equipment” and “Radiographic manual for tubing welding”.

As MTIC InterCert S.r.l., we believe that our honorary president Ing. Mario Masini will always light our way and he will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
