Photovoltaics

Solar energy, as well as the solar radiation, is the primary source of energy on Earth.

This type of energy can be used in the form of electricity, heat or chemical energy and is obtained from the electromagnetic radiation produced on the surface of the sun at a temperature of 5500 °C.

Today, in Europe around 10% of primary energy demand is covered by solar power generation; this number is growing significantly, as the companies that produce components for photovoltaic modules have reached very high competitive levels, mainly due to increased market demand.

The quality and safety standards to be complied with, on the basis of international industry regulations, must be compliant with the expected performance inaccordance with regard to energy production and efficiency.
