Currently, we are looking for a Quality Assurance Manager who will lead our teams for our headquarters in Bonn Germany, InterCert GmbH – Group of MTIC - .
The Quality Assurance Manager ensures that all internal and external requirements are met before our service reaches our customers. She/He is responsible for inspecting procedures and outputs and identifying errors or non-conformity issues.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities
- Define procedures for inspecting and reporting quality problems
- Monitor all operations that impact quality
- Verify the reliability and consistency of services (Inspection, Testing and Certification) by periodically checking processes and final output
- Assess the requirements of customers, suppliers and authorities (accreditation and notified bodies, etc.) and ensure that they are met
- Report all malfunctions/non-conformities to those responsible for the services (inspection, testing and certification) to ensure immediate intervention
- Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data
- Review existing standards and policies in agreement with management
- Keeping track of quality reports, statistical reviews, and relevant documentation
- Ensure that all legislative standards applicable to activities are incorporated into the QMS and met
- Plan and verify internal audits in agreement with the Management
- Prepare the audit report for the CEO
- Maintain the Quality Assurance Program comprising basic control for operations processes, document control, human resource processes.
- Evaluate the extent and adequacy of existing basic procedures and processes within the company and assist in development of new procedures and processes.
- Issue and keep control of the Quality Management System.
- Identify and report possible quality problems to the Head of Certification Body and Scheme Managers and initiate solution of such problems.
- Provide audit reports to the Head of Certification Body and Scheme Managers
- Initiate Quality Management and General Quality Meetings.
- Liaison with the client in quality related matters.
- Prepare, execute, or coordinate and report systematic audits to ensure that the approved procedures and work instructions and processes are adhered to.
- Coordinate actions for quality improvement through all disciplines and functional areas within the company organization.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Degree in engineering or technical field
- 5 years' working experience in quality or conformity assessment
- 40-hour ISO 9001 Auditor course
- Good knowledge of accreditation standards relevant to the body (17000 series scheme 1+) and regulations
- Very good knowledge of European legislative documentation (Regulation 765/2008/EC, Decision 768/2008/EC, etc.)
- Good knowledge of IAF, ILAC, EA documents applicable to the activities of the Body.
- Good knowledge of the contents and requirements defined for the Body by the Union harmonisation legislation applicable to the activity schemes relevant to the activities of the Body.
- Knowledge of the practices defined by the system certification standards.
- Knowledge of written English for understanding regulatory and legislative documentation applicable to the Body's activities
